Faith Foundation

We believe that:

 

1 - All scripture is given by the inspiration of God and that the Bible is the infallible Word of God. The Bible speaks plainly of what the Godly standard for life and for living is, and it is by this standard that we are able to discern the difference between the good and the evil, the right and the wrong, the wise and the foolish.

2 - The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit existing eternally as one God.

3 - Jesus Christ is the first begotten son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He was crucified, buried and was raised from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is at the right hand of the Father as the intercessor.

4 - All have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and repentance is commanded of God for all and is necessary for the forgiveness of sins.

5 - Justification, regeneration and the new birth are wrought by faith in Jesus.

6 - We are sanctified through faith in the blood of Jesus. We are cleansed by the Word and by the Spirit.

7 - Holiness is God's standard of living for His people.

8 - The baptism of the Holy Spirit and the speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance are of God.

9 - Baptism is necessary of all who receive Jesus as Lord and saviour.

10 - The atonement for sin will bring healing and deliverance.

11 - The communion of the bread and of the wine represents the body and blood of our Lord Jesus.

12 - The eternal reign of Jesus on earth, eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the ungodly will soon come to pass.
