Who are we and where are we going? - Words from the Pastor of the House

As one season has ended and a new one just begun, it is now necessary to make it clear who we are at Daystar and where we are going. This Church already has a unique humble history in God since its beginning in January of 2010. A history that followed the plan of God, and a future that will show the glory of God. If you have chosen to be part of this 'Work of God' then you must read this note to know what you have decided to be a part of and where it will take you.

Brief Background

This Church, Daystar, started in January of 2010, many weeks after I, Nicholas, was called out of my last home church in Brixton. I was aware of God's call on my life since about ten years earlier when I was in my previous home church The Cornerstone (Church of England). Even so, I did not know exactly what the call was really about. The Lord sent an elderly lady to me to deliver this confirmation message: "Tell Nicholas, when the right time comes, I will show him the way." This dear Sister in the Lord has long since gone to be with the Lord. Her name was Sister Bettie Davies. Her message was a confirmation of a prophetic dream the Lord had given to me months earlier about my destiny in God.

So now, over two decades later, this House, Daystar, is now established. Its purpose known, its unique assignment known, and most importantly I, the Shepherd, know what I am called to do and what the future holds for this ministry.

This Church was not created by me because I wanted to become a Pastor. That was never my ambition. Daystar did not arise because my last home church wanted a new branch, and I was appointed to be the pastor of the new church. The fact is that I wasn't even a senior minister in my last home church in Brixton. God simply called me to move out of Ruach and go, and I responded.

I had no training as a Pastor when I was called out. The great irony of it all is that I have the training, skills, and experience of a qualified Engineer. More precisely I am a Chartered Structural Engineer by profession. My expertise and experience are in the design and construction of buildings and structures. If this does not seem to make much sense to you, don't worry, you will soon see why God chose the right person for the right job.

The Assignment

Daystar Church was raised up as a House of God with a unique assignment and the assignment is to build one of the end-time Arks of safety for the protection of God's people in the near future. These Ark sites are located all over the world. These Arks will be fenced and gated communities this time around, not boats. These gated communities are being built as sanctuaries for believers only. They will house hundreds, or perhaps thousands of believers and their families. So, is Daystar truly a Church? Yes, but with some huge exploits to carry out. This mission of Daystar is far larger than the church-as-usual vison that most church people hold. God has called it "My Work". This is why Daystar Church will never go over to be part of any group of Churches who have their own man-made agenda and following their own man-made vision. This Church was raised up to comply with and to fulfil God's plan only. As one of the Lord's appointed vision holders, I am fully resolved that it will not matter any longer to me how strange it might seem or how unrealistic it might sound to Christians who hear this. Matthew chapter 24 talks about these end time Arks. It is for this purpose that God, in His wisdom, decided to come down and choose a qualified structural Engineer as one of them who will fulfil this mission.

The way of this ministry is directed to raise up a holy community. The finances will come, the land will be secured, and all the resources in ministers and ministries will be raised up as a mighty fortress. All this has been made known over the years by much prophetic confirmation. A much larger church building will be built for the community use and the glory of God will be seen in the beauty of it all. The Bible speaks of it as the end-time Zion and refers to it as the latter-day Jerusalem. This is the call of this House.

So, if you are OK with all what you have heard and still want to be part of this great mission, then welcome to Daystar. It will be an exciting journey and God will surely show you His glory and His power. But if not, then God bless you and direct you to another of His blessed and favoured Churches.
